It's the 12th already!

Well, Happy New Year, although its a bit belated now...

Christmas and New year have gone and I still feel like I need a break. It's January, what else can I expect. Well it's not that bad. I've got loads of stories to write, but just not enough time to write them, even on a weekly newspaper.

So "what stories has the New year brought to Aylesbury so far?" I hear you cry. (Well you might want to know)

The juicy ones I didn't cover:
A guy survived after 'falling' onto the rail line just when a train was coming. He had both his legs amputated. His family said it wasn't a suicide attempt and he was 'brave'
A human skull found in woods
A bank employee increased his own overdraft to about £48,000

The not so juicy ones I am covering...
A relatively new leisure centre loses 20,000 customers
An improving open prison is over crowded... surprise, surprise. I'm having a tour round it though for a feature piece, which I'm looking forward to
Plans being considered for a horse incinerator to be built in a small village called Steeple Claydon
The pub is the last property to be added to a 2,300 home development and the parish council want the residents to name it... They've had suggestions like "At long last" "The Broken Arms"!

We're nearly half way through January and I'm already knackered. What will I be like on the 31st?!
